Bell & Ross 01-92-C Carbon Fiber

Jacky mentioned the carbon fiber BR01-92 under my post "I love Bell & Ross....but" below. The AD near me has one and gave me the chance to photograph it. According to Bell & Ross, this is the first fully compressed carbon fiber case ever produced (the carbon fiber cases from other makers having other materials layered within).

The case is quite light considering the size. Legibility is great. My only complaint is about the strap. Even though it is comfortable, I don't like the idea of extending the carbon fiber look to the strap. I would much rather have the standard rubber B&R strap or perhaps a kevlar strap. The weave of the carbon on the dial is quite tight, which I find gives the dial some depth:

This reference is limited to 500 pieces. A chronograph version is also produced.

And of course, the wrist shot:

While I like this watch a lot, it is not my first choice for an 01-92 (That would be ther Heritage). That said, I have the suspicion that this will be a popular model.

Thanks for looking!
