I flew to Geneva to have a meeting with Aaron and Chopard (more about that in a separate posting).
Aaron was in fine form, dressed in a bright yellow jacket.
He and Eszter looked very happy. Hugs all round, it somehow seemed like a guilty pleasure, government brainwashing!
Aaron didn't need to say much, the watches did it for him.
Like, WOW!! Incredible tough beauty, case, dial and plates hewn from solid Zirconium!!
An extremely rare sight, three Bexeis together , each reflecting the artistic sensibility of the owner. In my opinion this is what independent watch making is all about.
This shoy shows the incrediblefinishing, looking at the hands you can see blueing on the shoulders..... astonishing!
I do not know who initiated the design but I take my hat off in the deepest respect for his aesthetic vision.
It goes without saying that the watch itself is flawlessly finished to Aaron's usual standards.
I am working with Aaron to create a round calibre and watch.....exciting times!!!
Here is a rendering. 39.5mm diameter, 10mm thickness.
Aaron is hoping to begin making it towards the end of the year.... I can't wait!

The collector is a knife collector too and he purchased a new knife and thought it would be cool to have
a matching watch with it so thats why he approached Aaron to see if he would do it . Aaron told me it was a real challenge to do so but also a great learning experience. The result is amazing imho .
