Birthyear watch
Dear purists,
all of us probably already asked themselves, which watch they miss in their collection. My answer for quite some time now is: Wouldn‘t it be nice to have a watch build (or at least first sold) in the same year, as I was born? The problem now is, to find a watch, that I actually like and at the same time meets the year of birth requirement. I was born in 1980 and the only idea i got so far was to get a marine nationale blue tudor snowflake from 1980. These are really really rare, though and I don‘t have connections nor the knowledge in the vintage community, so it‘s pretty much impossible for me to get one. So my questions for you are: which watch, which was available new in the year 1980 would you buy, and why? And also, do you own or want to own a watch. that‘s from your year of birth?

1980’s means Rolex, Tudor, Nautilus or Royal Oak. Unless you want to go dress watch.
