I replied to Nicolas. I wasn't kidding. I received the 673 today and snapped a couple of pictures on the box. No, I don't find the two watches..irresistible..on the contrary, apart from the hands, they are pretty ordinary (IMO) but the Marina Militare on the dial, will get my..juices..running until I'll..expire

I agree with you, in principle. The so called 1940 case has...
a slight edge (IMO) over the 1950. Solid, sturdy and without the ungainly (for some) bridge
Congrats, Sergio! I do prefer the 587 in this instance.
That one has such a great case with the MM dial. I am strongly considering a 662 to add to my 372.
