A high complication watch. So apart from the Tourbillon and Perpetual Calendar it also shows a running (marchante) hand showing the equation of time at a glance. Utterly useless unless sailing the oceans without gps etc, but nevertheless very impressive and a key property of Breguets history.
The tiny windows showcasing the month, date and leap year is practically unreadable without a loupe.
Beautiful engravement of the movement. Very fitting to engrave an old ship on the movement considering the complications.
The pictured ship is the Royal Louis, a French navy vessel.
And yes you can swim with it as it has a 100 m water resistant rating (!). Well...it isn't called a Marine for nothing right?
