A Marine masterpiece to begin the weekend...
Was travelling and came upon a dealer, so I decided to pop in to have a quick look-see. They had Breguet, so I was immediately intrigued, because I love the Tradition and Marine lines especially. I tried on the white gold time-only Marine and came away super impressed. I think it's a brilliant piece and maybe in a while I can get myself one (but there are priority and budget constraints...for now). The salesperson was super nice and noticed I knew my stuff, so then she offered something: why not pull out the Marine 5887PT from the display case so I could look at it? Good god, I wasn't prepared for this!
Anyway, I got to try it on and they even pried the wrap off the back so I could get a good look at the movement. Suffice it to say I don't have $360 000 to spend, but if I did, this might be the way...a fantastic experience. Hopefully you enjoy the photos. The movement engraving is just on another level; this kind of handcraft is incredible. Dream come true!
