Breguet Type XX Transatlantique 3820ST

I'm on a pilot's watch kick these days and have really fallen for the Breguet Type XX - in particular, the Transatlantique 3820ST.  I love the Aeronavale as well but felt it wore too small on my wrist.  The 3820 is approx. 2mm larger in diameter and has the matte bezel that I prefer.  Unfortunately the watch has been discontinued for some time and I won't be able to try before I buy (I just missed one that sold at a local dealer a week ago sad )

Can anyone here who owns or has owned a 3820 give me some idea how it might wear on a flat 7" wrist?  For reference, I typically wear somewhat larger watches (44 and 47mm Panerais, other watches in the 42-44mm range) although I do have an IWC Mark XV at 38mm that I absolutely love so I'm not completely averse to smaller pieces.
