Breguet Type XX Transatlantique 3820ST
I'm on a pilot's watch kick these days and have really fallen for the Breguet Type XX - in particular, the Transatlantique 3820ST. I love the Aeronavale as well but felt it wore too small on my wrist. The 3820 is approx. 2mm larger in diameter and has the matte bezel that I prefer. Unfortunately the watch has been discontinued for some time and I won't be able to try before I buy (I just missed one that sold at a local dealer a week ago

)Can anyone here who owns or has owned a 3820 give me some idea how it might wear on a flat 7" wrist? For reference, I typically wear somewhat larger watches (44 and 47mm Panerais, other watches in the 42-44mm range) although I do have an IWC Mark XV at 38mm that I absolutely love so I'm not completely averse to smaller pieces.
7" wrist is not a problem for that watch. I have the same wrist size, and no issues with that. [nt]

I am not sure, but I believe, that the Tranatlantique has the same diameter as the Aeronaval...
a fraction below 40mm.
Main reasons for me why I decided for the T and not for the A version: matte bezel, polished hands and markers, matte subdials, nicely integrated date.

The Transatlantique seems to be consistently listed online as 39.5 or 40mm and the Aeronavale at 38mm. That led me to believe the Transatlantique was a slightly larger version. Now I'm wondering if perhaps the numbers I've seen for the Transatlantique include the crown and those for the Aeronavale do not. If anyone here could confirm that would be great. Otherwise I'll check with Breguet.
I just can confirm, that the T Version is 39.5. However, besides the matte bezel, the A-Version looks very much the same! [nt]
