Hi All, Need your opinions on the Type XXI in Titanium. I tried this on the other day and it looked great. Thoughts on this piece? How is titanium to live with? Thanks B Image: ablogtoread...  

It will be more resistant to scratches and very comfortable to wear. Now, I would personally go for the smaller Type XX, also in titanium if this detail is important for you. Smaller, it also has a more balanced dial, which makes me prefer it to the Type ... 

Thanks Nicolas, I tried on the XX in SS and it wasnt too fond of it. I liked the Type XX 100th black bezel model, but my understanding is they are no longer available (ltd to 1000). I'll sit on it for a bit i think!

I'm going to see it in person, maybe bring a camera along, this week. It has many strengths. Maybe a bit busy? Not sure til I see it in person. But in pics, I am VERY intrigued. I always REALLY, REALLY loved the Type 21 in SS and especially RG, but found ...  

The dateless version: Honestly, I much prefer the original, ten the dateless version... The original is warmer, with a better balance. The dateless is nice, even if cold, and with the subdials which are too centered, which is intriguing... The Date ruins...  

among the available models, but... I find it small and a little forgettable at the same time. Also the shiny finish for me is not suitable for a true sport watch, but this is my problem with so many new/modern sporty watches--why shiny? In actual use out ...
