Cartier Tank Louis Cartier Large Automatic (Ref. WGTA0357) — thoughts on size?

Picked up a new piece for a special occasion: the Cartier Tank Louis Cartier Large Automatic in yellow gold (Ref. WGTA0357).
I wrestled with the Medium options — quartz in YG or manual in RG — but in the end, yellow gold with a mechanical movement won out. For me, the piece reflects innovation grounded in history: Cartier has experimented with automatic LCs before, and this modern version feels like a continuation of that lineage.
At 38 × 28 × 8.2 mm, it’s larger than the classic Medium, but it keeps the Roman dial and Tank DNA. On my 7” wrist I think it balances pretty well, but I know opinions on size run strong.
Curious to hear your takes — does the Large still feel true to the LC spirit, or would you have gone another way?

I agree, the size is right for you.

Cartier tank in on my "want to get it soon"
list, but I am leaning toward the quartz version, haven't had a quartz watch in years and am willing to give one a try again. May look at tthe Solar Beat.

It looks fantastic on your wrist. I think Cartier did a wonderful job at keeping the dimensions true to the TLC’s character, even for a size 38. I’m leaning heavily cowards this exact watch for my next purchase. Enjoy it in good health.
