Changes 2018 - 2: Why I was waiting for a Blancpain but bought an AP

Good News First: my newest addition to the collection, the AP Royal Oak Chrono (blue/silver) has arrived and I'm totaly Happy. How I got there was Not so nice, though. I was waiting since Baselworld 2017 to receive my Blancpain Fifty Fathoms tribute to Mil-spec. I Had ordered it right after the fair and my AD told me, that Blancpain Had confirmed them a fixed number and I'd get one of them. After several months delivery started and the AD got the First one. I wanted to get it with a metal bracelet and the arrival was without so someone Else got it. At the beginning of 2018 I asked the AD about the status. They asked Blancpain and told me, that they didn't get information about delivery dates with Metal bracelet. In the meantime I saw an AP ROC. I liked it very much, but didn't want to buy it, because I didn't want to buy both, the BP and the AP. Then, after Baselworld 2018 (more than a year after the order), my Blancpain-AD told me, that they now Had information from Blancpain, that they would get less mil-specs, than confirmed (so No further ones). I was waiting over a year, looking forward to getting the Mil-spec, Just to be told afterwards "sorry, we told you, you'd get one, but you won't"..... Now I'm even thinking about selling my Other Blancpain watch. (A regular bp ff bathyscaphe.) Well, but there's still good news. I am now the Happy owner of a ROC, my third AP.
