A big love affair since I saw it in the metal, during our PuristS GTG in Las Vegas in 2011.
6 years after, love is even bigger for that watch.
The small disappointment? I thought the dial was enameled, not lacquered... Other than that, this big watch is a pure beauty. Inside and outside.

I understand your small disappointment.
After seeing one of this in person, however, I'm quite happy with that dial anyway.
About the dial... hybrid?
I'd always understood that an enamel dial didn't fit due to the thickness of the underlying gold plate, so the solution was some kind of hybrid of lacquer on a piece of ceramic. Is this what happened, or is there less to the tale of how this came to be? B...

The size is quite a handful...
In spite of the Chopard lug design, which makes the watches wear better than the size would suggest. But apart from that, what a spectacular piece!
