Independents

After about 6 months with the DB28 functionally the watch was perfect but I noticed some faint spots forming on the main bridge, it looked like maybe a little oil collecting in the micro-light engraving. I sent a fuzzy picture into DB since it was tough to capture something so faint, they responded very quickly and told me to send the watch to the AD, let them know it was a warranty claim, and they would cover all the shipping back and forth to the manufacture for a look. While it was at the manufacture I asked if they could adjust the deployant to be more secure and send me a quote to replace the crystal since I had managed to put a couple tiny chips in it. A few months later and I never received a quote, the watch came back looking very clean with a new crystal and nicely adjusted deployant all at no cost under warranty. Yay! It was really great to see a brand standing behind their work and while I still can't get used to current watch prices, I'm glad that this crazy market has created room for independents who still care about their customers to succeed.
