decided to browse about this forum for the first time and worked my way through a couple of threads on this maker. towards many of the models from the established houses i find myself saying, "i like it, but for the xxx," or, if the numerals were just xxx instead of xxx, it would be ideal." from what i can glean from the de bethune website, and from the scans offered in threads below, i have to say that this brand fits my eye perhaps like to other. does anyone care to throw out some opinions on the brand, its history, anything? having just discovered it, any thoughts are most welcome. do i sound excited? well, i am. these are beautiful pieces.
