Definitely the white Gordon !
Since Gordon’s post a few days back re Blue or White I’d been meaning to give this one some wrist time. Well, here it is.
Some of you will recall me saying this before, but the CB and the 5711 are probably the two watches that best suit my wrist. And both have the benefit of being extremely versatile, watches that can fit any occasion and easily go from day to night and from work to play.
For the past several years this 5711 or the CB have been my go to travel watches (for the most part, some trips / cities necessitated something less valuable). Here’s hoping we can all get on the road again soon, and both the 5711 and CB get some more flight time (and wrist time).

The ‘piano dial” really is a beauty, especially in the bright daylight.
Most of us will not have many white dials in our collections so when we do have a white dial on the wrist it always looks so fresh.

If you are like me and find the CB to be perfection then there’s a good chance you will love the 5711 on the wrist. It’s just a shame we weren’t talking about this 6 or 7 years ago when having both was relatively easy.

The silvery white dial to me, is stunning. The black outlined indices gave a very bold contrast and the colour matched date window made this a very nice package. Also just noticed that Patek officially took the White 5711 off the catelog.

I thought we may have had several chances to GTG since SG last year, but alas no travel. I’m keeping my fingers crossed we can be in HK next year some time.
