Doctor Strange Jaeger LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar
After seeing the movie Doctor Strange I knew that a very special watch was missing in my collection: the Jaeger LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar!
Here is my first -- as always very visual -- review of this watch.
What to say: there is a lot of value for a well priced and ultra thin perpetual calendar. I was in love with the newer, black version too but Doctor Strange was wearing the steel boutique edition so here
we go!
I love the full year display. I understand that to some purists is not ideal but just perfect for me!
Couldn't see the full moon (too cloudy here) so I thought..why not see the moon through the watch ?
The watch is amazingly thin and comfortable. The steel version is obviously lighter with the traditional silver dial (vs. the more structured dials of the gold versions) and I like the fact
that this is a "special edition". Indeed not limited but still special as it is only sold through JLC boutiques
Very pleased by both the watch and the top, 7 stars service of my local boutique that always pampers me with special gifts and attentions
I have many watches but this is my first perpetual calendar. A useful complication that I have always admired. It is also my very first watch with the moon so it feels like starting my collection today (just kidding of course).
Well if you thought that marketing in a movie wouldn't work...it did for me. Enjoyed the movie a lot and the link to the watch.
In my view there is simply no competition in terms of value and style for this perpetual calendar. The very best of Jaeger LeCoultre.
