First Patek, first Post

 

 My first Patek and my first post on this site.  I have only recently scanned this site for pics and knowledge for a few watches that I have been looking at.  Many thanks to the contributors at this site as your opinions are valuable.

This is my contribution to the pool of pics and information.

A Nautilus 5711 1A.  A difficult watch to find in Asia.  I would hazard a guess that I got the last one available during this last distribuation of this model.  I would estimate that this model sold the day they arrived, with a few held on by the boutiqe, of which I got one of those from the boutique. 

An observation I have made so far for this watch is that it has very low recognition thus a "low key" high end watch.  It does not attrach attention like a gold PP does.  I'm not saying this is good or bad...just an observation. 

Very confortable to wear.

Very well chosen ! Regarding recognition: it is a discreet PP sport watch. Something that a true connoissuer will just be able to notice and appreciate. Looks really good on your wrist, not too big ... Regards Moritz

Congratulations on a classic sporty watch and cousin to the Royal Oak. I'm somewhat surprised by the number of Nautilis and Aquanauts that are being purchased as first time watches - seems to be a trend, across the fora at least. Wear it well and all the ...
