JLC - First time JLC owner

First time JLC owner

Hi all,

would like to introduce myself. My name is William, i'm from Indonesia, and i'm a first time JLC owner.

I recently acquired a couple of JLCs, that being a master control memovox for myself, and a reverso duoface for the wife.

Now, having dabbled in Panerais for quite sometime, the strap itch is getting to me again.

I have a few questions for the revered members of this forum if they are kind enough to help me in this matter.

1. What is the size of the standard strap that come with the MC memovox? 20/16, 20/18 or 21/18?
2. Does the springbars works the same way with a rolex in terms of having to push both sides in to take it off?
3. Can the deployant buckle be taken off and fitted to another strap, JLCs or aftermarket?
4. Does anyone have any particular strapmaker that makes great aftermarket straps for JLC? I know lots of strapmakers that makes amazing calfskin straps for Panerai and Rolex but not JLC, alligator or croc in this case. I've only looked at Hirsch Straps so far.

For the informative answer, Nicolas! you most definitely have been helpful. one more question if you don't mind, kind of another noob question. So the deployant clasp works the same way with the springbar when taken off?

I don't have one under my eyes, but I can tell you that it is not difficult to remove.

regardless of the strap it's on and also regardless of whether or not it's attached to a strap. Congratulations on the JLCs, I know you'll enjoy them.

I really like the Reverso Duo (the Reverso Duo in rose gold was the first watch that got me started loving watches). I'm not sure I could share that watch with anyone.

The reverso was actually meant for myself, as i purchased it LNIB and its a i didnt really care for the size..in the end, i find it weird to be looking at such a small watch after wearing panerais for so long, and i decided to give the reverso to the wif...
