foldingclasp for 5009J Gondolo
Dear Purists,
Recently I bought a 5009J made in 1995 and it came with a foldingclap.
If one would prefer a folding clap instead of the 'standard' prong buckle in the nineties which one was sold with a Gondolo?
The Ellipse shaped or Calatrava round clasp?

I like the folding much more
but in order to wear it in a comfortable way, the strap needs to be correctly measured. Best, Kari

There was one in our Collectors Market ( www.watchprosite.com ) with an pin buckle and another one found on pba-auctions site: It is always hard to know if they were the original ones or just replaced (I don't have an original Patek source). Hope ...
Sorry, I did not read your post carefully enough.
I believe that the standard folding clasp was the round one. Once I was told by Geneva Salon that the Ellipse one was originally designed for Golden Ellipse. Best, Kari
