Sometimes it appears as if bits and pieces had accidentially been exchanged, and a simple swap could reslove the issue. This is partulcarly the case if, in my personal opinion only of course, a certain watch seems to be inconsistent, be it design and choice of materials, price and actual market segment, or, as in the two watches here, front and back. Or expressed differently: the movement seems at odds with the overal design of a watch.
Here are the two contenders: The Czapek & Cie Quai des Bergues 'Renaissance' (left) and the Moritz Grossmann Benu (right):
The Czapek comes with an almost baroque face and complementing hands, but if you flip it over one stumbles upon a very modern, in terms of construction, design and finish, movement. Exactly the other way round with the Grossmann, offering a contemporary, clean front, but a really vintage, in all aspects, movement.
Let's take all our creative licenses and flip the movements - don't you think this is much more consistent, or even convincing?

Curious to read your thoughts!
Best,
Magnus
