Fun with quartz!
It doesn’t always have to be high horology. I love this Seamaster 300M “James Bond” 2541.80. It initially caught my attention years ago when I learned that Prince William wears this as his only watch (the mid-size version) because it had been a gift from his late mother. A very poignant story and an intriguing reference that harkens back to the last of the quartz Seamasters. Such an easy, no-fuss watch to wear when I’m running out the door on the weekend and I can’t pause to set the proper time on a mechanical watch. The subtle wave dial only appears in certain light. HAGWE!

Yep, the William - Connection makes this one of the most important modern omegas, indeed. I think he should wear the AT, tho.

Thank you for commenting. I like the Aqua Terra, though for my taste I would like it (and the Seamaster divers) much better without the HE valve.
But the HE valve on this particular reference doesn’t appear as distracting as on the modern Seamasters.
I love this watch...
... I still have the auto version and it’s the one that started this disease for me. I will shamelessly admit, the Bond movie connection helped push me over the edge. I now wear it on a rubber strap or NATO as a “easy out the door” watch.
The sunlight really catches the wave pattern nicely! Well done!
