Got a few Blue Bleu Blu today.......

Hi there folks!

I hope that this cold winter isn't getting to most of you, please do stay warm and comfy, preferably by the fireplace!

Well, just would like to share with you all a few catches that i made today.

The weather was perfectly fine throughout the day here in Tokyo, except during the night right around after 8 it started pouring!

The very 1st item up, a bag from Felisi, an Italian brand which hails from the town of Ferrara in Emilia Romagna that started off fairly late, 1973 to be precise, but makes some of the best business briefcases today, all in Italian style of course. This marque, together with Orobianco, is two very highly esteemed makers here in Tokyo, and many people aim to own one. I have contemplated on the both of them for the past 7 years that I have called Tokyo home, but neither have ever gotten me at my heart. Until today.

I have always thought, if i were to ever get one of their bags, it has GOT to be SO ME. Meaning what? Well, for many it may seem boring because my choice is always monotonous, BUT for me, if it's not this, it is NEVER me. Felisi on one hand always crafts bags that are bi-colours, meaning while the main body may be in a cool blue, the handles and trimmings are in such variety as brown, or black. No no, from me at least.

But chance fell upon me today, as i strolled into United Arrows mens store, ( one of the best select shop right here in Tokyo) and this bag caught my eyes from 7 metres away. I held it in my hands, and knew here was a winner. The attentive staff came to me, and explained that this particular Felisi craftswork was not of the regular variety, it was a special order by United Arrows, meaning that you will not find this bag even in the Felisi flagship store in Italy! ( Note: Special orders by a Japanese shop from brands in Italy and around the world is very common, simply because the Japanese market demands it, are willing to pay for it, and it seems the brands also respect Japan very much, i'm not in the field of consumer marketing, but this is how it seems to work out here, intrigues me and my family all the time)

By gosh, this bag, as much as i fail to capture it's true colour in my still-yet-to-be-very-much-improved photography, is JUST so midnight blue, meaning, so ME! Everything about it is Blue, the Nylon used, the leather, even the stitchings!

Without further ado, as i guess talking too much would cause most of you to fall asleep anyways, here are some shots of my bag, my very 1st Felisi, FINALLY!

I know, i know, I have to work on the flash! But the bag, in it's entirety.

Very gorgeous Felisi logo.

Will you just look at THIS nylon?

It ain't real crocodile folks, i'm much too poor for that. It's just good embossed calf.

The entire feet gets the treatment though!

Side flaps, and the zip handle

Top is blue

And so is back!

Inside though is black

But not without it's share of blue too!

And what else did you think i got besides my bag? Some beautiful Blu autos! In the plastic of course!

Now this is a rare find, the latest Mercedes Benz E class coupe, in blue! Although i do not think that this is the Tanzanite blue of the real thing, cause it does not have a metallic finish, very nice in any case. I am contemplating to get this car back in my hometown.

Now i don't normally buy cabriolets in models, as these are actually the "automatic movements" of the car world to me, but in this case i make an exception. Just look at the paint job. This tanzanite blue epitomises me, so much.

If this happened in reality, my oh my.

And lastly, i told myself, if i found the very 1st model of the SLS in Daytona blue, ( not my kind of blue, but the only original blue that Mercedes Benz offer for this model) i would buy it. Here it is with me today.

And the wine seems to agree with it all, BellaBlu!

Thank you for viewing this far folks, and i hope you enjoyed my humble sharing, just as i'm sure these items will enhance my life so much more, especially the briefcase!

Have a very Merry Christmas with all at home, and a stupendous Happy New Year ahead!

Blessings in Blue,

Stephen
