Got to play around with the Wempe Anniversary pieces today and...
just one word WOW.
From the photos of the prototypes I had seen a year ago I had not liked the watch, the Wempe logo was too "visible" and I did not like the date apperture at 6.
In real it was a whole new story. Absolutely gorgeous watches, my favorite being the rose gold model.
A perfectly balanced dial with the day and month indications at 12 having their counter balance with the date at 6.
the case is the grande Calatrava one with its gracious curves and perfect size.
The dial of each model had slightly the sheen of the case and gave the watch a somewhat vintage look.
