Grand Seiko SBGR027 - movement shots.
Hi all -
So as we all know, whilst when it comes to the dial, hands, case and bracelet, a Grand Seiko is up there with the very best in the world, its movement is never going to be challenging the likes of a Dufour or Voutilainen. That's what the Credor Masterpieces are for.
Still, I thought it would be interesting to flip over my recently acquired SBGR027 and have a nose around.
So without further ado...

Both the watch and the photos. With the exception of that one adjusting screw head, things look very clean in there ... In fact you might get your hand sliced open on some of those hard edges. I can tell you from first-hand experience that cleanliness is ...

These pictures certainly bares it all. But I bet to the naked eye, we won't be able to see it. but more importantly as Ken pointed out the GS line set out to be the best practical mechanical watch....which to me takes more priority
