H. Moser QC Issues?
Hi Folks:
Just wondering if I am the only one out there who is experiencing quality control issues with brand new H. Moser & Cie watches. Briefly, I purchased a lovely white gold Moinard from the local AD and discovered that the power reserve gauge on the movement was not working. The dealer instantly replaced that watch with it's identical twin. The good news, the power reseve works fine. The bad news, the watch is gaining close to 20 seconds per day.
I am going to break the watch in foir a while before returning it for exchange or (hopefully) expedited repair, but prior experience indicates that the watch will probably have to be repaired/regulated. In addition, the automatic stop seconds/hacking mechanism is a bit quirky: sometimes the watch keeps running for up to four seconds after the crown is pulled out. I guess I would be more upset if I had not previously experienced similar QC issues with other watches...
Happy holidays to everyone!
Mitch

All is well in NYC. However, the big news is that I may be moving to LA in the near future!! As for the Monard, the replacement given to me by the local AD started having even more problems than the original in terms of movement function. Though the Moser...
