Harrods Fine Watch Room: SIHH watches and even a Panerai not yet seen!!!

So my good friends at Harrods Fine Watch room gave me a call the other day and said I should grab the camera bag, meet them at some ungodly hour, and come into the store to photograph some of the SIHH watches they have on show, and for order for that matter, and there would also be a surprise!

Off I went!

If you are in London until March 5th, and want to get to see some of the SIHH watches before anywhere else, then this is the place. The watches presented by IWC, Lange, JLC, Audemars, and Panerai are on show. JLC and Audemars did not have the watches available to me that morning, but the others did. Without further adieu, the watches:

IWC: I have to say that although generally not my taste, this set of watches in ceramic and with the new luminescent colouring was! Loved the Big Pilot watch!

Lange: as always, sublime watches:

Panerai: not for me, but I know for plenty of others out there. Harrods have a coup here: the Panerai PAM00523 Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic – 42mm (even before being shown to the press) and available for pre-order. Very Sly-Tech if you ask me, but as I am not a Panerai fan, I could have that very wrong.

And the PAM00514 - Radiomir 1940 3 Days – 47mm (more my taste) and a very good looking watch.
