Help with a Royal Oak Chrono Purchase
Hi,
This is my first time posting so please be gentle. I know more about Glashuttes and JLCs than Audemars (although I do have a 14800). To be fair, the only chrono I ever had on my wrist was the Offshore. I, unfortunately, have my mother's wrists...and it was too massive.
It was only later I found that the Royal Oak Chrono could be found in the 39MM version, and it fits nicely. I was considering this watch (no I do not like the diamond bezel, but I have an OEM one sourced).
Is authenticity something I should worry about? The seller has no papers or much to say on provenance, just that she bought it from someone who sells a lot of items with her. I called AP and they said the series number and case number matched and was not stolen. Are these often faked?
In advance, thank you for your patience and any words of wisdom.
