I'm lost...
I'm experiencing serious issues this year, I bought this 18038 back in June and I can't seem to take it off my wrist.
Normally I'm hooked on 'entree' level independents but there is just something about this Rolex I can't resist, maybe it's a phase. Currently I am waiting for the delivery of my Grönefeld Remontoire and I am seriously considering to cut the collection down to three pieces:
1. Day-Date
2. Remontoire
3. Urwerk/Vianney Halter/MB&F (definitely an independent brand with a crazy design, any suggestions are always welcome)
Again, I might feel ashamed as a watch lover... but since the O.G. Tony has spoken his mind, I really don't care

And going for a GMT Sultan....mmm....thank the Sky Wizard it is located in dead center Amsterdam and I hate traveling there... I’m safe at the moment 😇

It's both a classy piece and a classic in my opinion. If it can be worn in a coloured gold, then that's the way to go and that's what you've done.
Combined with the 1941 and something a little off the wall from Urwerk, Halter or MB&F it's a superb collection. I think many of us here would be more than content with a trio like that.

De Bethune is a very good option as well, especially the DB27 with a salmon dial. There's this one dutch guy around here that messes me up as well.. haha
