I would go for the 1803 (1972) for the following reason

- sigma dial is sought after by collectors - the slow beat movement series (1570, 1556 etc) are the last Rolex movements that were to a degree hand-made and of outstanding watchmaking quality Reference 18038 has the high speed movement (3035, 3055) which

It took me 32 years....

but yesterday finally here, my one and only grail 😍 My first gold watch and a bit overwhelmed really so hopefully I can get used to it. 1980 Daydate 18038. In immaculate condition as it left the factory some 39 years ago 😊 Had to be this reference number
