then the 5146 and 5135 might also be worth checking out.

IMHO the bar indices on the 5146P look better than the more casual roman numerals on the gold versions (although the gold 5146 is a lot of watch for the dollar). However, since the 5146 uses the 5056 movement in a larger case, its dial is not as well balanced as the 5056.

The 5135 and 5396 do not have a power reserve display but offer great styling. If you like art deco styling, and have a large enough wrist, then the 5135 is certainly worth looking at. The 5396 shows off its guichet date displays with a round sector dial.
