Need Help
I am about to purchase my first Patek. I had been looking at the Gondolo Calendero (5135) which looks like it is now discontinued. I like to have a slightly larger watch and this could be the reason that I was looking at this option. Also a good shape. However I would like to know if I should be concerened about the discontinuation. I have also been told by some that a Patek you buy should be round?
My alternative option was the world traveler 5130 or the 5146.
So please help. I am 37 and have the other basics in watches (IWC, Panerai, Jaeger, Mueller, Vacheron) this is a pinnacle purchase

You have chosen two very different complications. They are both great pieces. Which would you use the most? Are you a traveller or would the Annual Calendar be of more use? I would not worry in the slightest about any discontinuation of a model, as Patek ...
