Yes, a Champlevé would be really exciting. Without " holes " in the dial.

I think the challenge is...
the space between the actual dial and the hands, don't you think? JLC would be one of the only ones to do this "in-house," but it'd have to a spectacular scene, don't you think? -Dean
With the " normal " dial of the MUT Jubilé, it is already a challenge.
So it would be even more difficult with a " Champlevé ", for sure! But I guess that 4, 5 or 5 mm instead of 4, 05 mm would still be acceptable, in term of height. ;) Best, Nicolas

however, I doubt the extra height required would be round or less than 1mm. The dial alone, a Champleve one would probably be more. The current Jubilee case is when the ultra thin movement "integrates" with the case back to achieve the extreme overall sli...
Yes, I fear that a Champlevé dial is a bit thicker than this.
But;, after all, the original Ultra Thin Pocket Watch was much thinner than the Jubilé. There is some margin. Yes, it is a touch challenge... ;) Best, Nicolas
