A dream for me.... Take the case of the MUT Jubilé, which is one of the most appealing of the category: And put an enamel Champlevé dial like this one: Remove the Tourbillon, and we are not far from a Masterpiece, a dreamwatch, don't you think? Looking fo...  

I looked at the Americas version of the cloissone dial tourbillion a few years ago. Quite lovely, but very pricey. The masters of this are Ulysse Nardin I think with their San Marco case and a large number of interesting compositions, the nautical ones be... 

It would lovely. But I also want to add an open back, like the VC 1955. This movement is just sublime. I agree on your idea on the dial. But, I don't want a plain white one like the Lange anniversary, or the VC CR. I want it more dynamic as you pictured. ...

the space between the actual dial and the hands, don't you think? JLC would be one of the only ones to do this "in-house," but it'd have to a spectacular scene, don't you think? -Dean

So it would be even more difficult with a " Champlevé ", for sure! But I guess that 4, 5 or 5 mm instead of 4, 05 mm would still be acceptable, in term of height. ;) Best, Nicolas

however, I doubt the extra height required would be round or less than 1mm. The dial alone, a Champleve one would probably be more. The current Jubilee case is when the ultra thin movement "integrates" with the case back to achieve the extreme overall sli... 

But;, after all, the original Ultra Thin Pocket Watch was much thinner than the Jubilé. There is some margin. Yes, it is a touch challenge... ;) Best, Nicolas
