Italian Madness.

Italians are mad about coffee and cars, we all know that...

We all know a small bomb called Fiat 500, which is a monument in the car world, a cult.

We also know that the Fiat 500 was developped in a furious version, the Abarth:



What I totally ignored is that Fiat also made some shoes for the " 500 " owners:





Let me give you a second example of italian madness.

It is well known that Design is an italian business and passion.

So, I went in an italian store, to get some ideas for my house...

But, at my greatest surprise, I fell on this:





A genuine Trolley from Swissair!

Of course you can already imagine how I would use it... How delirious it would be to stock your watch collection in such a place!

3 inconvenients, though:

1/ Thieves would be delighted to bring your whole collection so easily.

2/ I can use it for another purpose, but there are still two other inconvenients:

- The dimensions are too big, and it would not be possible to put it in my car to carry it at home.

- The price, which is awfully high ( 1500 Euros ).

BUT I have to say that it crossed my mind more than once!



A third and last example: Food.

I won't detail here all the italian specialities, they are well known, worldwide.

Italians are awfully greedy, which reveals their love for Life.

But they always reserve some surprises.

Go to an Illy Shop ( Illy is famous for their Coffee, but also for their tea, now that they bought a part of Damman's Company ).

You may fall on this ( and also for this, by the way ) :



A Chocolate Laboratory!

It is useless to say that when my daughter saw this, we had to go there every day.

Italy is Heaven, my friends.
