Its Here!!!
Finally have my 5101, i'm so happy, I was happy before because i', a happy kinda guy but a fresh 5101 isnt going to ruin anyones day. I have been collecting watches for 5-6 years and am reasonably informed about certain brands and the care of watches in general, but I have a question that would be expected from a first time watch buyer, the 5101 came in the shipping package along with box, papers etc. I plan on keeping this watch for many years, i dabble in buying and selling other brands just for fun, but all my PP's are keepers. My silly question is should I keep it in the sealed vaccum plactic its in or take it out, the watch will be kept in NV which is dry and hard on leather straps. I havent decided if I'm going to wear it(my heart says YES) but the practical side of me says wait a while and see. I have orederd a 5074 that I WILL wear. I wear my 5970,5100yg, i did wear the 3970 alot for a couple years. Will wearing the 5101 on ocassion depericate the watch alot? I'm not looking to make $$$ on any of the PP's but at the same time I dont want to cost myself alot of $$$ either. sorry for the long post but since I'm new I'm just trying to give everyone here a little insight to who I am, I know most of you because of my lurking.
And please If I ever step out of bounds from the rules(which I read) letme know I want to earn everyones respect here and make new friends.
