IWC event. Mr. Kurt Klaus in Lebanon, give us a great lesson in watch manufacturing
Hi all, this event organised by Mr Atamian gathered watch lovers of the great brand which is IWC. The guest of honour was mr Kurt Klaus, who spent 50 years in IWC as a successful designer and inventor. Kurt Klaus invented the ingenious perpetual calendar of the Da Vinci more than 20 years ago. A special edition of the Da Vinci is being produced in his honour.

I shouldn't have laughed, lost a screw in the heart of the movement 
Kurt Klaus trying to fix the mess i did. After checking everything he goes to me " i don't understand, 1st time i see something like that! " Ooooopss...Of course, i didnt mention that i've dropped a screw in the heart of the movement and tried desperatly to get. He had warned us in the beginning " DO NOT come close to that part of the movement"...Anyway, he managed to reassemble it again and make it work, with my humble help

Thanks for sharing with us your great talent of Watchmaker! It was indeed a great moment, but this kind of exercize, " Master Class " as JLC use to say is all excpet an easy one. You were brave enough to try when your huble servitor never attended to it.....
There is the before and after this event...
... it changes the way you see things. I think we cannot realise how delicate and precisely, all those small pieces fit together in such a small space... until you disassemble a movement, and reassemble it. Incredible experience. You have another look at ...
