IWC Spitfire
After watching Top Gun Maverick movie, decided to bring this out which is my favorite IWC timepiece for a host of reasons:
1. 39mm is perfect for my wrist size
2. Perfect symmetry with balanced two liners and date windows on the dial
3. Red liner indicating that this is not a Mark series but a Spitfire version instead
4. Faux patina hour and minutes hand including the 12 o’clock triangle/hour index
I guess the next step is to travel again via commercial flights soon to complete the flying experience.
