JLC - JLC Dilemma.

JLC Dilemma.

Currently own an MUT Moon 39 and am a big fan of the case. I had previously thought that the only watch in this case family I would trade up for would be an MUT Perpetual in SS silver face.

I now have the opportunity to acquire the SS Perpetual silver face brand new (and another preowned) both at great prices but am having huge second thoughts on pulling the trigger. I keep finding myself making excuses like "the dial is too busy" or "I don't own a winder" but I think it is really love for the MUT Moon.

I can't justify having two of the same case in the collection. I know I should do what feels right, but would love to get your opinions and inputs to help with the decision. Am not really feeling the black face so that is not in the consideration set.

What do you guys think? Trade or not? I can't own both

Why push yourself to get the perp? The MUT Moon is really a more balanced and cooler watch. And a far, far better value. I have some quibbles with the perp. I greatly dislike the year module on all the models. It's completely unnecessary, and has the date...

Mostel, you have really captured what I am feeling. I love the case and so should be loving the upgrade to a perpetual but not at the cost of giving me up the Moon. Don't get me wrong - the perp is a phenomenal watch. I am actually OK with the year layout...
