Journe Addict - New Watch
Alright... if this Journe addiciton keeps up, I will need to seek serious help.
I just added a Resonance to my Journe Collection. Yes, after much thought and debate, I broke down and did it. That said, I could not be happier. It's by far my favorite watch. I have added this to a collection of other Journe's (Chronometre Souverain & Octa Calendrier), plus some other watches of other brands.
For what it's worth, I find the Resonance very easy to set, and actually quite fun to use. It's like nothing else that I own, or have seen.
Now I need to decide if I am going to keep the Calendrier. I just don't know if it will get any wrist time between the Resonance and the Chronometre Souverain (which I personally think is one of the nicest watches out there).
As an aside, I got to meet and hang out with FP Journe himself yesterday. I can't say enough nice things about him. He's a class act, and one of a kind. I now understand how committed he is to his brand, and how passionate he is about watchmaking in general. It is a true honor to own one of his watches. Keep up the great work Mr. Francois Paul!
