Journe Heaven
Went to the Antiquorum preview today in Hong Kong. What a treat! Virtually every every model made was present except a few limited editions (hee hee wearing my Ti Tokyo Resonance). There were more models present than you can find in any of the FPJ boutiques. Of course my attention was focused on Grand Sonnerie carefullly setting the watch to 10.59 before pushing the minute repeater. The sound was just perfect. From there I enjoyed spending time viewing each of the pieces on auction. The YG Octa Lune had a lovely rich dial color, the yg chronograph was weak. There was an Octa Automatique Lune with the new adustable deployant, a zodiac, vagabondage, divine, resonance, calendrier, cs, octa automatique, rdm, old remontoir and a dead seconds. There were yg dials, wg dials and even some rare ruthenium pieces including the day night indicator. This was truly Journe Heaven! Of course after a while I could not help by getting distracted. I loved seeing a PP 5960P, Lange 1 Tourb, JLC Gyrotourbillon and PP 5101P. This is will be the ultimate auction. I need to head to Macau now to make some money. May 10th and 11th is going to be expensive
