Milgauss GV - up close and personal

Dear fellow Purists, I had the opportunity to assemble some macro pictures of the Milgauss GV recently - I hope you enjoy. Some of these have been included in prior WristScans but I've tried to add a few extras. Why a watch that is made to resist magnetism has a seconds hand that is a bolt of lightning? Well, I don't know the "official" answer but I hope that it is this: those of you that recall Maxwell equations from physics will know that magnetic fields are generated by time varying electric fields; essentially electric currents. What better signature for such a phenomenon than through the artistic representation of a lightning bolt on the dial of a time-keeper itself? A clever bit of subtle physics. Milgauss to me is a very practical high-quality time keeper that provides a very nice link to something a bit more important than just our typical day-to-day - fundamental physics and the keeping of time; a nice interpretation for a modern classic. Let's start to zoom in:

Appropriately placed with a text on elementary particles; it looks like a thumbs up!

The language of physics is mathematics

Charm in physics has a defined meaning; but it's equally applicable to this timepiece

The essence of modern Milgauss?

Pure directionality

The crown attracts lightning

Through the looking glass?

Almost 10 years for PuristS

All the bestl
