My ♯3417AM is back after the nice OH
I bought #3417 in 2019 at a relatively bargain price. It`s outermost circumference of the dial was damaged, but it was not particularly unsightly because it had a uniform wavy pattern.
Last year,my friend adviced me that PP can repair them, and I followed his advice. But PP AD said ``Since it is a difficult task to reproduce the dial using this actual item, there is no guarantee that it will return to the original
condition , but is that OK? ``
So I had been always worried this one year. I am very happy to see finally completed.

did they say why?
SWISS should have been easy to apply. I've also seen quirks with VC factory redials that have the "&" removed. Perhaps they are trying to signal this is not an original dial, even though authentic?

So the initial watch dial also never had swiss at 6 ?
