welcome to the Omega forum. this sounds like a pure fluke as most Omegas perform perfectly without issue. dont be put off the brand just by one bad experience. can you tell us what the problem was please? best Graham

My son's Planet Ocean did this at about a year, and my Seamaster Bond GMT did it at 18 months. We both had the exact same symptoms you experienced. Fortunately, in both cases, the watches seem ok after one trip back to Omega. Both are coaxials.
