My first posting ever in the watchprosite forums. Some images of my first Omega. I've had the watch for a little over a year, but it's been to Omega 3 times for repair...I think it's problems have finally been resolved. Thanks for viewing, Josh...  

welcome to the Omega forum. this sounds like a pure fluke as most Omegas perform perfectly without issue. dont be put off the brand just by one bad experience. can you tell us what the problem was please? best Graham

Aqua Terra with the 2500C movement in it. It seems to be running fine (+3 seconds/day gain, unvariably, so far, within specs) and I've heard different stories concerning the co-axial. The majority of owners seem to be happy with theirs, while there is alw... 

My son's Planet Ocean did this at about a year, and my Seamaster Bond GMT did it at 18 months. We both had the exact same symptoms you experienced. Fortunately, in both cases, the watches seem ok after one trip back to Omega. Both are coaxials.

That's really interesting. What a strange problem too. I had heard at one point from one of the dealers here in town that Omega initially had issues with over-lubricating the coaxial movements. It requires much less lubrication when initially made than th... 

Josh, its certainly true that co axials need a lot less lube than lever escapements. they arent quite lube free but nearly. my watchmaker was amazed when he did the co axial course and of course modern oils are far more effective than older oils so less i... 

hope at the winding issues are resolved now ! Never had any problems with either of my Omega's to speak of . Here's a pic of my 2nd edition Bond ....
