Never bought such a cheap watch before

Really needed something that I can use as a beater.

Wanne loose some weight LOL so part of the plan is doing some extra sport ... cycling with a fat bike is one of them

Now, I used to use my Tudor Black Bay but the shocks and vibrations can't be good for a watch

And after all this Tudor is still a 3K watch ... so I needed something else

First thought about something like a G-Shock or a Swatch.

But unfortunately I really don't like the first and also the Swatch is not my favorite.

And I really do prefer NON Quartz, even if this means it might be more fragile

Yup .... a Seiko 5 Sports

A cheap, and I mean REALLY CHEAP watch. I almost can't understand how they make this watch for about 300 euro retail ( and 170 or so on the grey market)

Steel bracelet ( not the best, but very acceptable for the price, and you can always put a leather strap on it

)

Automatic movement

day and date indicator

3 hands

and it even looks good LOL

All of this for 170 euro !!!

for the beating engine inside. At the price hard to beat. Even a solid tank like a sinn u1 is closer 1500. Seiko has a range of options that are great value. Thanks for sharing. Bill

And would you believe it it is even cheaper than a Seiko. Nonetheless, it is an automatic and keeps good time .

Great choice, I too couldn't bring myself to buyer an inexpensive quartz beach beater...
