My boy’s first mechanical watch is a legit vintage Seiko diver. Originally marketed as a ladies watch, it’s 30mm and has a functional bezel. He might unwillingly hand this down to his little brother so it can be his first watch, but for now he’s the best-strapped two year old on the playground.

My guy has a Flik Flak as well, and he just likes playing with the bezel. He’s only two and a half, so at this point his watches are more about me than about him ...
