New in-house movement by Rainer Nienaber! (link to large scan included)
It seems Rainer Nienaber has joined the select few watchmakers, who make their own movement largely in-house!
I had a brief chat with Herr Nienaber this morning, I will post more details as I get them. Here is all I know for the moment:
It has a 13''' movement, all bridges and plates manufactured by RN. The finishing is still not decided, several versions exist. But it will be of a very high standard. The design as such has an interesting history, I'll get back to the list with more details. It looks like it was quite a job, designing a movement for a regulateur, with the seconds at twelve!
