Hello to fellow Blancpain lovers and, I trust, Blancpain lovers who know more about their Blancpains than I do.
I'm currently wearing, and loving, a Leman Flyback, 2185. It looks great on the strap, but I got the chance to try one on on that beautiful -71 bracelet recently, and now I've got to have it.
So here's my question, pros: does the -71 bracelet for the Leman 2185 (38mm flyback chrono) use the same endlinks as the -71 bracelet for the Leman 2150 (38mm big date automatic)? If it does, I may have myself a new bracelet. If it doesn't I've got to keep looking.

When it comes to Leman cases and the x-71 ...
most of the time you have different endlinks. There are a few exceptions, but I can´t remember them at the moment. Will check my database, but I am not confident in your case. Anyway, you have a great watch and unfortunately we don´t see it that often tho...

Just got off the phone with Blancpain.
The answer is no. The 2185 case is thicker than the 2150 case, so the bracelet uses different end pieces.
Nothing more than an educated guess...
assumptions: 1.) each case shape/dimension has its dedicated end link. Note that same diameter is not enough, as the case band itself might differ in inclination. 2.) rule of thumb: if collection & case dimensions (diameter, lug width, thickness) matc...

It's gotten me into a bit of a Blancpain frenzy the last couple of months, as well as a bit of a smaller watch frenzy. (A reading and picture-looking frenzy that is. I haven't bought anything since I picked this up at the beginning of November)

Sorry to hear the bracelet didn't work out. Perhaps it just means that there is a more ideal watch with a bracelet in your future. :)
