New Silverware
After patiently waiting I got the call today and now own my first Tudor.
I was slightly cautious about buying a silver watch, but curiosity got the better of me and I’m looking forward see how the silver case develops over time or trying Cookies’ home chemistry trick with saltwater and foil 😀.
Thanks to all who have posted pics of this watch, which really sparked my interest in it.

Magnificent! If it does tarnish you can always add it to the weekly silverware polishing roster! ;)
But seriously, many congratulations on such a wonderful bit of BB58 silver!
That’s what I have been told.
But i see quite a lot of talk about tarnishing on this. Be interesting to see how/if it affects it and to be honest that was a bit of the allure in buying it over a steel version.

The dial tone is quite unique I think and really changes with the light and the silver is a nice variation from my other steel watches.
