Nicolas is right - this Montblanc 1858 Tachymeter Chronograph is impossible
to remove from the wrist !
Some shots I took this morning . The blue dial comes alive under sunlight and plays with light very well

Goes very well with blue belt and shoes. The strap is a nice navy blue.

Some shots indoors:

And 2 side case profiles shots for our dear friend MichaelC to wet his appetite as he waits for his to arrive

Large onion crown like in some pilot watches
This watch is a real gem! I mean my Tudor Black Bay Black and Rolex GMT master 2 Batman which I got few weeks ago gave me a lot of joy but this Montblanc 1858 Tachymeter chronograph is a different league in terms of my joy and experience!
I am thinking a good thick blue rubber strap or mesh bracelet may go well with this sporty (by design not function as it is only WR to 30m) watch too and may be more suitable for my hot and humid weather in Singapore. I can wear this watch indoors but not too long outdoors with our current heatwave here.
Hope you like my latest pics
Cheers
Robin

Robin, there\'s ALWAYS a heatwave in Singapore! ;-) It is gorgeous. Yum. (Quite thick, though.) How do you feel about the hands on the sub-registers? In pics they look a bit flat, like they were just stamped out and that was it. I\'m guessing that\'s just...

Getting some blue support back tomorrow (the LUC Chrono One returning from the spa and a blue strap for the LUC Sport) but not much explanation is needed to see why you find it hard to take the 1858 off your wrist I\'m personally not a fan of rubber strap...
